HHS Receive Award from Cheshire Police

On Friday 15th June, four year 10 Media Studies students (Jess S, Emma H, Sophie P and Josh M) were invited to the Cheshire Police HQ to be formally presented with their award for creating the winning radio advert for the Safer Schools competition, entered by hundreds of schools across the region. Their hard hitting advert, which focussed on the theme of internet safety, (specifically online grooming) was chosen as the very best high school entry by judges including representatives from the police and the High Sheriff of Cheshire. This is testament to the time, thought and creativity that the four students put into the planning, recording and editing of their highly professional advert, which you can listen to here:
