Following the completion of the regular season group stages three of the four boys’ basketball teams have progressed to the knock-out stages in Basketball England’s National Schools’ competitions.
The U16 Premier team have reached the Last 8 following their 3rd place finish in North Premier Group 1. This is an even greater achievement considering that all bar one of the team are currently in Year 10 and will be eligible to play again next year. Their Last 8 game will be away vs. Archbishop Beck from Liverpool.
The U14 Premier team have also reached the Last 8 stage having finished second in their North Premier Group. They will face a long trip to Southend after half term to play Shoeburyness Academy.
The U14 Conference team, made up of Year 7 & 8 boys, also finished second in their pool and they will face Phillips High School from Bury in their Last 32 game.
